Rains make a mockery of the Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway

We are getting more and more data on the mess DSC Limited has created for us in the form of Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway.

Media reports confirm that the highway became a mess due to rains in the Gurgaon city.

In fact, the main highway connecting Delhi and Gurgaon was submerged under a foot of water at some location.

A foot of water is good enough to kill the expensive cars that people in these cities drive.

I can see in my own sector. The parking area in the sector 31 market is practically a swimming pool since yesterday. No action has been taking by the Gurgaon administration.

We already do not have enough good roads in the city. Now when you are driving around, there might be a good chance that you might end up landing in a big hole which is hidden due to rain water.

Be safe people. Stay at home. And hope that your house does not get flooded. As the rains are still one and there is no stopping them.

Haryana Urban Development Authority destroys Sector 31 market outlets

Well, not really the proper outlets but the ones which were encroaching the path outside the shops.

They are not just removing them. They are literally destroying them. When I was passing the market just a while back, I actually heard noises like smashing glasses.

I am not sure if I am happy with this repeated development. HUDA does not seem to be concerned about the lack of good roads in the sector. They are of course not worried about the power cuts…

They are just worried about the encroachment by poor vendors who are not rich enough to rent a proper shop in the market.

And most of these vendors are the ones which are serving affordable food in the locality. There are no cheap food serving outlets in the entire market expect for the fast food offered by them.
