Gurgaon administration as usual has been a total failure this rainy season. They never cared to fix the basic infrastructure before the rainy season arrived. Instead, the entire focus was to put red lights and speak breakers on all the crossings.
Since they cannot manage traffic at all, they decided to slow down the traffic to let it manage on its own.
The rainy season has arrived and it has done its magic. Roads in Gurgaon are in tatters. Gurgaon can actually be called a hilly region now because we do not have potholes on our roads, we have mini mountains.
I do not expect the administration to provide us with silky smooth roads. But it would have been nice if they can at least do some temporary solutions to smoothen the roads at night?
I bet the traffic problem in Gurgaon would be resolved by around 20-40% if they can provide us with better roads and slip roads at all the major crossings.
They provided one at the Sector 31 cut and it has eased up traffic massively at that point. Similar slip roads are required at plenty of other junctions. The cut at the Signature Tower needs it urgently. In fact, they have enough empty land there. But I believe the beer shop there is causing the unwanted bureaucratic delays. It takes me 15-20 minutes to take a left turn at the Signature Tower crossing!
