These are some remarkable pictures! This is cool for me, in that I know of Gurgaon from folks I work with, but I've never actually seen some "real" images like this.
The waters and power lines... dangerous combination...

Hello
I really enjoyed looking at the pictures on your blog. I am a researcher at a UK university and recently visited India (which I loved!!) as part of a conference and lecture tour. I am very interested in urban sustainability and the different types of urban development that are appearing all over India. Gurgaon is therefore particularly interesting. I think it is a real shame that more is currently not being done to improve the infrastructure there which I know is a concern to residents (I read a number of newspaper stories about it while I was over there). I am working on a research article with an Indian colleague for a UK journal (Urban Design and Planning) to bring attention to the need to look at urban sustainability in India, and I was wondering if you had any images that I might be able to use? The sort of images I am after re: Gurgaon would capture the new housing/ urban development and the still poorly maintained infrastructure (roads, sewers etc.). I would like to be able to give a bit of evidence to show how housing development is very aggressive but there is little or no focus on infrastructure - and this needs to change.
As I am a researcher, I would not be able to pay you for such images, but I will of course state that you are the photographer (and your name will be in print!). Do you have any images that might be suitable?

I hope you can help. Many thanks.
