Raheja Atlantis is located in Sector 31 Gurgaon. Incidentally, the apartment complex is just behind my own house. I found about the fire firsthand because of the noise of the fire brigade in the area yesterday.
The fire incident took place due to a short circuit in an air-conditioner on the fourth floor of the E-wing, in house number 41.
No one was hurt in the accident thankfully. Funny thing is that the people living in the apartment complained that the fire safety equipment was not working in a building complex but nothing was done to fix them.
Let’s hope the Gurgaon administration takes notice of this fact and take drastic action against the management of the complex.
